Abstract

SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS

Participants intending to give an oral presentation in the symposium should submit their abstracts to the Conference Secretariat (gcfne@hku.hk) with a title “GCFNE 2018 – Abstract” before 16 Nov 2018. Authors will be notified by email of whether their abstracts are selected for oral presentation. Please ensure your email account is correctly set to receive the program information or updates fromgcfne@hku.hk

In addition to the above presentations, the symposium will have a "3-Minutes Presentation (3MP)" session for participants (especially the postgraduate students and postdoctoral fellows) to introduce their research project. Interested attendees should email their abstracts to the Conference Secretariat (gcfne@hku.hk) with a title "GCFNE 2018 – 3MP" before 16 Nov 2018. Awards will be given to the best three presenters.

 

ABSTRACT GUIDELINES
The abstract should be structured into the following sections

  1. Introduction -  outlines the background and significance of the study;
  2. Methodologies - a concise description of methods used in the study;
  3. Results - describes the major findings;
  4. Conclusion; and
  5. Funding Supports.

The abstract should contain no more than 300 words (excluding the “Funding” section). No references should be included.
