Dr Li is an assistant professor in the Department of Politics and Public Administration. He studies environmental policy. His research focuses on environmental justice, environmental attitudes and opinions, environmental regulations, and environmental information disclosure. He was a postdoctoral fellow in the Ross School of Business & School for Environment and Sustainability at the University of Michigan before he joined the University of Hong Kong. He received his Ph.D. in Public Affairs from the O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University. Before that, He got his MPA from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University and completed his BA at Renmin University of China.
