Abstract Submission

The spirit of our 2nd ISOACC is to encourage discussion about the latest (unpublished) research in a topic related to our specific themes (multiple stressors, biomineralization, response of oysters at molecular and biominerlaization levels to climate change), to identify knowledge gaps and to find ways to address those through interdisciplinary collaborations. The symposium will have both oral presentation and poster introduction sessions. The typical oral presentation (30 minutes) is reserved for ONLY invited speakers. Invited speakers – please submit your talk title and a 100-word brief abstract through email to isoacc@hku.hk or rajan@hku.hk .   

All other submissions will be considered for poster presentation with introduction – where presenting authors will be given 3 minutes to present their poster orally before the typical poster presentation.  Tentatively, the poster session is scheduled on December 9 morning. If you are interested to submit your abstract for this unique poster presentation, please send the title, 200-word abstract, presenting author details and affiliation and contact email (in word file) to  isoacc@hku.hk or rajan@hku.hk .

Abstract Submission Deadline: 31st October, 2016

Acceptance of Abstract: Within 7 working days of your abstract submission to us through email, we will let you know (through email) the outcome of your abstract. Once it is accepted for the oral-cum poster session, please go ahead with the registration process.

Fee - (Full) USD 500 OR HKD 4,000/ (Student) USD 250 OR HKD 2,000 (Fee includes symposium reception, banquet and lunches)
