Postgraduate enquiries:
In the first instance consult the Postgraduate Prospectus or click on "Research" for the name of the contact person engaged in the areas of research in which you are interested. You may be asked to visit the School and meet the director and other staff, including prospective supervisors, before you formally apply for admission . Copies of the Prospectus can be obtained from the Academic and Faculty Service Section of the Registry.
Admission to read for the degrees of MPhil and PhD is normally dependent upon the possession of a good honours degree from a recognized university. Intending applicants without such a qualification may be admitted on the basis of certain other professional qualifications or by taking a qualifying examination.
Any queries regarding admission should be addressed to the Graduate School (research@hkucc.hku.hk).
It must be understood that it may not be possible to provide expert supervision or adequate facilities for work for a research degree in some subject areas of ecology, but the School can offer precise guidance in this matter and you could contact the acamedic staff for advice.
