Paracymoriza sp.

There are 16 species of Paracymoriza recorded in China among about 30 species described in the Oriental and Palaearctic regions. Only vagalis group of Paracymoriza have been found in Hong Kong. Like Eoophyla, larvae live in fast flowing streams and feed on the algae on rock surfaces. They are also having unbranched tracheal gills, but they could be distinguished by the cylindrical body shaped and the hypogathous mouthparts.
