Afronurus dudgeoni (formerly known as Cinygmina dudgeoni)
General appearance
Body color light yellow to yellowish
brown; size medium up to 7.5mm long (excluding antennae & cerci)
Three cerci much longer than body length by 2 times
Head
Head brown without pale spot on anterior margin of head (cf. concrete spots in Afronurus sinensis)

Gills I - VII well tracheated; all gills with fibrilliform portion except gill VII; Gills V & VI with a distinct apical projection
A pair of small logintudinal stripes on all terga (shown on terga III - VI, VIII - X in early to middle stage)

Distribution:
In Hong Kong, specimens are recorded from Shing Mun, Tai Lam Chung, Tai Po Kau Forest Stream, Ng Tung Chai, Lam Tsuen River, Tai Tso Stream (Tai Mo Shan), Pui O (Lantau Island).
Etymology: This species is named after Prof. David Dugeon.
