Identification is the first step to a basic understanding of biology and ecology of aquatic organisms. This website focus on benthic organisms found in Hong Kong freshwaters. Almost all of them are in larval stage which are species-rich component in freshwater habitats. Their characteristics of major taxonomic groups will be given for species identification.
